Danielle Thomas, MA, Clinical Trainee

Danielle received her M.A. in Counseling from the University of North Dakota in May 2019. She received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of North Dakota in August 2014. In her masters training she has provided mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as substance use treatment services for adults.

Danielle has experience working with both substance use and mental health disorders. At Lake Country Associates she will be working toward dual LPC and LADC licensure. Danielle is passionate about holistically treating mental health and substance use. She is excited to be a part of the shift in the field toward more integrated care models.

Danielle is originally from the Turtle Mountain Reservation and is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. She has worked closely with Native American populations and strives for multicultural competence in her work with clients.

In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog, as well as reading, writing, and biking.
