Da'Nel Chase

Da’Nel Chase, MS, LPCC, RPT is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 15 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She received her Master of Science degree from St. Cloud State University and completed all but her dissertation in the doctorate of psychology program through Capella University.  Da’Nel provides counseling, primarily with children, at our Park Rapids office.  She is experienced in providing play therapy with children, individual therapy with teenagers and adults, and family therapy.  Da’Nel is certified with United States Association for Play Therapy as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

Her past experience includes in-home family and individual therapy, outpatient therapy working with individuals ages 2 and up and their families, group therapy with adult sex-offenders, and faith-based therapy.  She has also received training in experiential play therapy and mindfulness-based play-family therapy, and education in regard to ages 0-3. Her areas of interest include play therapy with children ages 2 and up, and individual and family therapy for most issues; trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD, adjustment disorders, parenting concerns, and relational struggles.
