Diane Cerven, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, provides pre-teen, adolescent and adult therapy in a confidential, caring and strength-based environment. She received her master’s degree in 2004 from Denver Seminary. Diane works with individuals, and couples, in assessment, and treatment of emotional disorders. Her goal is to promote mental health.
In couple’s therapy, Diane’s goal is to help couples become masters of relationships, including communication skills and relationship building. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. In individual therapy she works with people struggling with depression, anxiety, effects of trauma and relationship issues. Our mind and body are not the only parts of us, there is also our soul. Christian counseling is available upon request.
Diane believes that meditation and mindfulness are keys to a healthy brain and lifestyle. Meditation has been proven to help improve many mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. To that effect she facilitates beginning meditation group. Anger management is also available, usually done in individual sessions.
