Hannah Pederson, MS, LPCC is a mental health professional with 7 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan, specializing in early childhood, children’s and family system’s concerns. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies from North Dakota State University. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota and North Dakota. Hannah is also a Certified Clinical Supervisor in North Dakota. Hannah’s clinical work is rooted in Person Centered (Humanistic) Counseling, with a Systemic and Feminist/Social Justice lens. She starts with developing a positive and professional therapeutic relationship with all clients and families.
Hannah’s area of clinical specialties includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), LGBTQ+ issues, family relationships and life transitions. Hannah uses a variety of therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), family therapy, and play therapy. These approaches allow her to walk alongside clients to meet their treatment goals. Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, being on the lake, working on small home improvement projects, and going to concerts.
