Sally Christensen, MA LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing mental health to children, adults, and families over the past ten years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and her master’s from Argosy University, Twin Cities. Sally has provided services for individuals and families through school-based, home-based, and outpatient settings throughout different communities in Minnesota.
Sally believes that therapy is a collaborative process and guides clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. She integrates relationship strategies with various therapeutic modalities to support the individual or family.
Sally has specialized training in EMDR (eye movement reprocessing and desensitization therapy) and TI-CPP (trauma informed child-parent psychotherapy). She works with the entire age spectrum utilizing these specialties as well as models related to cognitive behavior, solution-focused, and dialectical behavior therapy.
