Alea Stoll, MSW, LGSW

Alea Stoll, MSW, LGSW, is a part-time clinical trainee in the Bemidji office and a Temporary Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in the spring of 2024.

With nine years of experience in social work, Alea has worked with youth in a crisis shelter, supported youth and families experiencing homelessness, and currently serves as a school social worker in the Bemidji School District. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages and diverse family systems.

Alea is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults, using a relational and trauma-informed approach. She incorporates evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based interventions, and mindfulness practices, to help clients develop coping skills, process emotions, and build resilience. She is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward healing. Alea believes in tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs while prioritizing their right to self-determination.

Alea lives in the Bemidji area with her husband and their golden retriever. She loves being part of this close-knit northern Minnesota community and enjoys exploring its beautiful scenery. In her free time, she likes hiking, playing board games, watching sitcoms, reading, and baking.
