Adia Ward, Mental Health Practitioner

Lake Country Associates welcomes Adia Ward to the Bemidji team of professionals!  Adia works as a Practitioner in the Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) program.  ARMHS is a community-based program that teaches people skills to manage their mental health symptoms while living in their homes and helps them avoid hospitalization.

Adia is from the great state of Maryland and is enjoying life in northern Minnesota.  She received her Bachelor of Arts at Georgetown University where she learned the concept of “cura personalis” with means caring for the whole person.  Adia has background in working with children and adults helping them navigate their life challenges and to accomplish their goals.  Her working philosophy is “person centered” where people can speak free of judgement.  Adia is looking forward to working with the Bemidji ARMHS program to support the community.

There is currently no waiting list for ARMHS services in Bemidji.  Due to COVID-19, services are being offered either in-person or via telehealth, depending on the needs of the recipient.
